Well today is the fifth birthday of popular blogging platform, Wordpress. It seems like it was only yesterday that I learned about Wordpress and all its wonders.

I started out on Blogger with a stupid little blog that was a mishmash of everything and anything. I slowly learned more about the blogging world and then Chris of Kickstart Your Forums started a new site called Blogging 4 Life which is a free blog hosting website that used subdomains. They opened their site and Kickstart staff were among the first to sign up.

I had never worked with Wordpress before and I instantly loved it. I then learned more about the web hosting world and I moved into it and started a few blogs that were on their own domains such as this blog.

I still love to learn about Wordpress and all the things related to it, I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to using blogger as it is I only have one blog there which I only keep because it is over a year old.

Now I want to know, how did you first hear about Wordpress?
